Heritage
Heritage is one of Piscataway's newest communities. Located off of North Randolphville Road, Heritage is conveniently located near route 287 and is just minutes away from the Dunellen train station. The community is comprised of single family houses with 2,847 square feet of living space with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and a 2 car garage. Houses are equipped with gourmet kitchens, expanded family rooms, and upgraded deluxe alarm systems. Heritage homes do not have basements. Heritage in conveniently located to provide easy access to routes 287 making commuting to Jersey and New York City only a 45 minute to 1 hour trip. The neighborhood is close to several parks and a short drive to Rutgers University and New Brunswick’s downtown shopping, dining, and live entertainment. River Road Section
River Road is along the Raritan River in the Southwestern portion of the township. River Road (County Route 622) runs from Lincoln Blvd in Middlesex, NJ to Route 27 in Highland Park. Major landmarks located on River Rd include Johnson Park, High Point Solutions Stadium (Formerly Rutgers Stadium), Colgate Palmolive Technology Center (909 River Rd. Piscataway, NJ 08854), Dow Chemical (171 River Rd. Piscataway, NJ 08854), and the East Jersey Olde Towne Village (1050 River Rd, Piscataway, NJ 08854). River Road runs into interstate 287 providing easy access to the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, and Routes 1 & 9. River Road also intersects with Centennial Ave, the home of several other corporations and hotels. North of River Road are several residential subdivisions as well as the Busch and Livingston Campuses of Rutgers University. The subdivisions North of River Road are home to single family houses. The majority of homes in the River Road Section are 3, 4, or 5 bedroom split level houses built in the 1960s and 1970s. Grandview
Grandview is a subdivision of single family homes located off of North Randolphville Road. The subdivision is also home to Grandview Elementary School, making it the ideal neighborhood to raise a family in, especially if you plan on sending your children to Piscataway public schools. Grandview is also close to interstate 287 and the Dunellen train station, providing commuters with easy access to major highways and public transportation. There are several different styles of single family homes in Grandview, making it a neighborhood with several options that can accommodate any budget. Houses prices range from $200,000 to $600,000 with newer center hall colonial, split level, and ranch style homes. There are even older Cape Cod style homes. Lake Nelson is located in the center of town directly off of Metlers Lane. Lake Nelson is less than a five minute drive to Rutgers University and 5 to 10 minute drive to downtown New Brunswick.
